HALF TERM MAGIC HITS THE MIDLANDS AND NORTH OF ENGLAND ACROSS MERLIN ATTRACTIONS
Merlin Entertainments are set to deliver fun for all the family in the Midlands and the north of England this half term with a lineup of activities across Warwick Castle, Cadbury World, SEA LIFE Centres and LEGOLAND® Discovery Centres.
Warwick Castle
History lovers can enjoy entertainment that’s right on target with the Festival of Archery, which includes daring challenges and hands-on sessions as well as a dramatic shoot-off finale. Beyond the arrows, additional highlights include the hawk-tacular Birds of Prey shows, royal encounters in the Princess Tower, dragon-sized fun in the Zog Playland, a wander through the Horrible Histories Maze and immersive moments in the Great Hall. Guests looking to make it a ‘knight’ to remember can book accommodation at the cosy Woodland Lodges or the Warwick Castle Hotel. The Festival of Archery runs from the 14 until 22 February.
Cadbury World
Activities continue over at Cadbury World, where Freddo’s Circus leaps into action. The ribbit-ing 15-minute live show brings big laughs and circus flair, unlocking entry to the full Cadbury World experience. From the 4D Chocolate Adventure and Cadbury Chocolate Quest Ride to the Have-a-Go zone, the Bournville Experience and live cocoa demonstrations, it’s every chocolate-lover’s dream this half term. Freddo’s Circus runs from the 14 until 22 February.
LEGOLAND Discovery Centres in Birmingham and Manchester
Master Model Builders will guide young LEGO® enthusiasts this half term to make their LEGO skills brick-tacular. With hands-on challenges, scavenger hunts and a Creativity Academy Passport to fill out, youngsters (and adults!) will be able to ignite their imagination and problem solve in a playful environment this half term. Running from 31 January until 1 March.
SEA LIFE Birmingham and Manchester
Both centres will be offering a ‘roar-some’ Jurassic Seas event, inviting younger visitors to become SEA LIFE Rangers with activities including fossil digs, themed photo opportunities and close-up encounters with creatures ranging from Northern Sea Otters to Black Tip Reef Sharks. Running from 7 February until 1 March in Birmingham and from 2 February until 1 March in Manchester.
