Stowed away within the Castle’s idyllic 500-acre grounds, the Knights’ Retreat lodges were inspired by thirteenth-century owner Queen Eleanor of Castile’s vision for a ‘Castle of Delights’.
Named after mythical creatures such as the Basilisk, Minotaur, and Gryphon, these fairy-tale lodges provide the perfect base from which to explore the delights of the Leeds Castle estate. Guests staying in a Knights’ Retreat lodge benefit from complimentary access to the breathtaking Castle and its magnificent grounds***. This includes the captivating Maze and underground Grotto, the Birds of Prey Centre, three thrilling play areas for younger visitors, and the multimedia tours, including the new 1930s immersive audio experience, ‘Invitation to Decadence’.
Each cosy lodge — including two designed with accessibility in mind — is fully equipped with modern comforts to ensure a relaxing stay.
