ALDI LAUNCHES BIGGEST EVER VEGETARIAN & VEGAN CHRISTMAS RANGE

Supermarket giant Aldi is expanding its Christmas offering this year with its biggest ever vegetarian and vegan range! From show-stopping centrepieces to brand-new vegan pigs in blankets, it has everything covered for vegetarians or meat-eaters looking for something tasty to try – and from just £1.49!
No Turkey Roast

For the first time ever, Aldi has launched a No Turkey Roast (350g, £2.99), a festive, taste sensation of cranberry, apricot and pumpkin seed stuffing, wrapped in a tasty soya and tofu coating – the perfect masterpiece for a main! Available in stores from 16th November.

The vegan feast continues with a showstopper – the Specially Selected Vegan Wreath (550g, £3.99). A hearty blend of chestnut mushrooms, butternut squash and fruit stuffing in a handmade vegan pastry wreath. Available from 21st December

Specially Selected Nut Roasts



Aldi has nut roast lovers covered this Christmas with its heavenly Specially Selected Nut Roast (390g, £2.99). Made with root vegetables and available in two flavour varieties: Cranberry Sauce (VE) or Camembert (V), on sale from 26th October.

For those who just can’t get enough of their vegetables, the Specially Selected Vegetable Bakes (400g, £2.99) are back with a brand-new vegan, Root Vegetable & Cranberry option. Or stick to what you know and love with the return of the award-winning Butternut Squash, Mushroom & Wensleydale treat, available from 10th December.

Vegetable Parcels

Showing that vegetables are anything but boring, Aldi is bringing you Goats Cheese & Red Onion and Spinach, Leek & Cheddar Vegetarian Lattices (300g, £1.49), along with a selection of Specially Selected Vegetable Parcels (400g, £1.79). Choose from a Button Mushroom & Cranberry Parcel (V) which has an oh-so-indulgent creamy brie sauce, or a chunky Butternut Squash, Chickpea and Spinach Parcel (VE) which has a wonderfully aromatic lightly spiced sauce. Available in store now.



Sumptuous Sides

New to Aldi’s Christmas sides this year, are the Plant Menu Vegan No Pigs in Blankets (280g, £1.99) – a Christmas classic. A meat-free pepper and herb vegan ‘pig’ hand-wrapped in crispy puff pastry – the perfect mouth-watering meat-free trimming. Available from 19th December.

Specially Selected Potato Dauphinoise with Extra Mature Barbers Cheddar Cheese

It’s time to pair your roast, bake or parcel with the perfect companion – the indulgent Specially Selected Potato Dauphinoise with Extra Mature Barbers Cheddar Cheese (480g, £1.89), available in store now.

Transform the sprouts this year with Aldi’s scrumptious Specially Selected Balsamic Roasted Sprouts (400g, £1.69), available with Bacon or Pine nuts from 26th October. Or stuff yourself silly with the Specially Selected Vegan Stuffing Balls, available in classic Sage and Onion or brand-new Cranberry, Apricot and Mandarin. In stores 10th December.



Specially Selected Thai Roses

Get the festive party started with Aldi’s dazzling selection of vegetarian party food. Kick off with a platter of brand-new Specially Selected Thai Roses (170g, £2.99) which come in two flavours – Yellow and Red Thai. Both handmade, the yellow is made from a cooked vegetable filling, yellow curry paste, green and red chilli, all wrapped up in filo pastry. The Red Thai Rose swaps out the curry paste for a fiery red chilli and sweet paprika filling. Available to buy from the 10th December.



A staple of every British party, Aldi’s new Vegan Cocktail Sausages (200g, £1.49) are made with pea and wheat protein, vegetable couscous and an array of spices and sage – the perfect nod to classic Lincolnshire-style flavour, without any of the meat! Available from 10th December


Fusion Skewers and Oriental Veg Selection

Give the festivities an Oriental twist this Christmas with Fusion Vegan Skewers (240g, £1.99) filled with either Sweet Chilli, Satay or Thai Green Curry. Or embrace the return of the Oriental Vegetable Selection (212g, £1.99), and Vegetable Gyozas (210g, £1.69), served with a delicious chilli and soy dip.



Returning to stores for 2020 are Aldi’s Let’s Party Vegan Bites (200g, £1.99), available as Cauliflower & Pumpkin bites, or No Duck Hoisin Spring Rolls.



The perfect Boxing Day leftovers are here – Aldi’s Specially Selected Brie and Cranberry Quiche (400g, £2.19), a rich quiche baked with creamy French brie and hand finished with vibrant sliced cranberries, available from 27th November.

Desserts New for 2020, Aldi has launched its Specially Selected Belgian Chocolate & Orange Melt in the Middle Pudding (470g, £2.49). A delicious vegan chocolate pudding made with hidden orange compote, finished with a rich dark chocolate sauce and a gold shimmer.



For the ultimate Vegan treat, Aldi has launched the Moser Roth Gin & Fruit Creams (90g, £1.49). These luxuriously thin dark chocolate creams come in a range of delicious flavours including, Blood Orange Gin, Pink Gin, Elderflower Gin, Sloe Gin, or Strawberry, Orange, Violet and Rose centres – the perfect end to a fantastic spread.
