New GoKidGo podcasts

New GoKidGo podcasts featuring talent from top TV stars, writers and producers offer screen-free fun for kids, igniting young imaginations

A team of Emmy Award-winning producers and New York Times bestselling writers have joined forces to launch a collection of narrative podcasts for children, voiced by TV stars including Ariel Winter, Danny Pudi, Katherine McNamara, Michaela Dietz and more.

GoKidGo, the audio imagination company for kids, is all about big laughs, exciting characters and immersive storytelling through original podcasts developed by leading authors like R.L. Stine (Goosebumps) and Patrick Carman (Skeleton Creek).

Aimed at 6 to 11-year-olds – an age group that endures four times the recommended amount of screen time according to American Academy of Pediatrics research– the free podcasts are contained in an Avenger’s style universe to promote deep engagement.

The first three GoKidGo podcasts include Bobby Wonder, Lucy Wow and R.L Stine’s Story Club.

Bobby Wonder, voiced by actor Danny Pudi (Abed Nadir in NBC’s Community) just found out he’s from another planet, he has superpowers, and that Mighty Mila (played by Katherine McNamara (Clary Fray in supernatural TV drama Shadowhunters) is out to get him! At least protecting his hometown of Pflugerville will be a little easier with Grabstack, his theatrical alien sidekick, in tow.

Lucy Wow is a brilliant 11-year old who designs and builds cool inventions with her sidekick Kapow, a mechanical pigmy goat. Driven by the question “what if?”, some of her inventions are epic…others are epic fails! The STEM-promoting podcast Lucy Wow stars Michaela Dietz (the voice of Amethyst in Cartoon Network’s Steven Universe) and Ian James Corlett (The Loud House, Dragon Ball Z).

R.L. Stine’s Story Club brings to life all the strange stories from R.L. Stine’s vault that have never before been seen in print, television or film. Aimed at 8 to 12-year-olds, R.L. Stine’s Story Club season one includes 10 original podcast episodes featuring Ariel Winter, who played Alex Dunphy in the long-running Emmy award-winning sitcom Modern Family, as Ivy.

These are just the first of many GoKidGo shows to launch. We’ve got a ton more to come with big stars, hilarious stories and a whole universe of characters – think Nickelodeon but for your ears,” comments GoKidGo co-founder Patrick Carman.

Listeners can download three episodes of Bobby Wonder, two episodes of Lucy Wow and two episodes of R.L Stine’s Story Club on the release date of May 3, 2021. Thereafter episodes of each show will drop weekly on Mondays.
