Platinum is highly regarded as one of the rarest and most beautiful precious metals on Earth, thirty times rarer than gold, and offers a unique enduring radiance and timeless aesthetic that. Equally important is that Platinum is naturally hypoallergenic with 85+% purity making it safe for even the most sensitive of skin.

The Platinum Born collection from Rox has introduced some delicate designs carefully crafted in Japan by expert artisans. It is the only all-platinum fine jewelry collection in the market and it’s exclusively available in the UK from ROX London and online at www.rox.co.uk.

We have seen the collection which feature hoops, cuffs, earrings and necklaces with prices ranging from around £550-£7250. Of particular note are those which incorporate freshwater pearls, a particularly distinctive combination. What definitely caught our eye were the Multi-Drop Earrings which feature chandelier of platinum and pearls hanging gracefully from a diamond-cut bead.
As can be seen from the enclosed pictures these are delicate and neither under or overstated. Measuring 2.25 inches they dangle elegantly from a sparkling diamond-cut platinum bead. The combination of the radiant pearls and the shimmering platinum creates a captivating interplay of light and texture. They are secured with a leverback closure, ensuring comfort and security. Ideal for adding an elegant finishing touch to any outfit, these earrings are a testament to timeless style and refined luxury.

We were very impressed and these are definitely worth a visit to examine or buy online.

Rox have stores in Glasgow, Edinburgh, Liverpool, Newcastle and Leeds with their only London store on the Upper Ground floor at Battersea Power station.

Situated in the massive Battersea Power Station or as people in this office call it ‘Tobacco Dock 2’ it is hard to put a finger on why this place always seems deserted. Perhaps the sheer size just dwarfs the people and therefore it is an optical illusion – after all it has the benefit of a tube station yards away and tons of new build homes in the area (unlike the aforementioned Tobacco Dock) and so should be full to the gills. So why are you put off browsing because the desperate shop staff look ready to pounce on you as you walk into an empty store? Perhaps there are just too many large shopping malls catering for the same population and this is the tipping point that future historians will point to. Possibly because the balance between high end outlets here that don’t cater to the average pocket and mass appeal chains is not right.
