This Summer, luxury Hertfordshire hotel and spa, The Grove will be offering all guests the opportunity to experience an exceptional summer programme. The line-up of activities and The Grove’s unmatched proximity to London, make the hotel the ultimate staycation destination this year. Activity highlights include: 

  • Everyman Secret Garden – From 16th July, guests are invited to relax under the stars with bean bags, delicious snacks and beverages, and enjoy an array of new releases and family favourites at the Everyman Secret Garden cinema in partnership with Discovery. Scheduled films include Barbie, Bob Marley: One Love, One Life, Anyone but You, Mean Girls, Wonka, The Little Mermaid (2023), and Back To Black. 
  • Skewd at The Grove – The property has recently launched its new culinary pop-up, in partnership with Skewd, an esteemed name in the UK’s culinary scene and multi-award-winning North London restaurant renowned for its dedication to reinventing traditional Turkish cuisine. Located within the charming setting of the Potting Shed in the Walled Garden, this summer takeover brings something entirely new to The Grove with its innovative take on Anatolian cuisine, cooked over an open fire. Guests can expect a fusion of Turkish, Middle Eastern, and Mediterranean dishes, crafted with locally sourced ingredients and infused with bold flavours and spices.
  • Feast on Cloud 9 – From 25 May – 1 September, groups of up to six are invited to come together for the return of the immersive hot air balloon dining experience in partnership with Feast on Cloud 9. Elevating the offering for 2024, group sizes from two to six guests can now book to enjoy afternoon tea together whilst the nine-course gourmet tasting menu is available for groups of four to six guests daily. 
  • Mini Landies – New for this year, The Grove has introduced a duo of miniature 4x4s for guests aged 3-8 years old to enjoy adrenaline-fuelled woodland adventures at the weekend.
  • Football Escapes – A firm favourite, Football Escapes provides premier football coaching courses for children, courtesy of current and ex-professional footballers. Football Escapes is back this summer from Tuesday 28 – Thursday 30 May and Tuesday 27 – Thursday 29 August. 
  • Saracens Staycation – The Grove will play host to Saracens’ game-changing rugby camp from 30 July – 1 August, offering an active break for aspiring rugby players within U7 – U14 age groups. The expert team of coaches at Saracens will help players improve their playing abilities focusing on goal-setting, problem-solving, decision-making and leadership skills. 
  • Ralph’s Beach – Located in the Walled Garden, Ralph’s Beach is the perfect spot for guests to enjoy a refreshing drink and cool down with an outdoor swim in the warmer months. The heated pool is open from 10am – 6pm with the Gazebo adjacent serving drinks in the morning and a range of delicious snacks in the afternoon. 
  • Bamford Spa Days at Sequoia Spa – Guests can select from an array of Bamford spa days starting from £240 each including a full day’s access to the spa facilities and relaxing lunch at Sequoia Kitchen. Guests of the B Silent Spa Day will enjoy an 80 minute B Silent Ritual and facial, those who select the B Clear Spa Day will experience a body polish and facial and for the B Strong Spa Day, a deep tissue massage. 

A one-night stay in a West Wing Classic Room starts from £370, room-only and inclusive of spa access. 

School Holiday Package starts from £289 per room, per night, and includes a three-night stay in a Classic room, breakfast in-room or at The Glasshouse restaurant, access to award-winning Sequoia spa and use of Asher’s Woodland Trails.
