With beaches and parks sure to be overcrowded during the first heatwave of the year, which is hotly tipped for this and next week, sunshine loving Brits can catch the 20-degree rays without fighting for space by enjoying a walk at Up at The O2.

Walking over the roof of world’s most popular music, entertainment and leisure venue offers a new way to celebrate the first hot spell of the year, with 90-minute walk 52m above ground and panoramic views of London skyline, guaranteeing an experience like no other. On a clear day visitors can see up to 15 miles away and they can even toast the occasion with a glass of Champagne Lanson if they opt for the Celebration Climb.

All climbs will be led by a team of expert guides who’ll be on hand to dish out fun facts and local knowledge of the surrounding areas.

Daytime tickets are £35pp and are suitable for anyone aged 8+ and can be booked here. The Celebration Climb is available here for an extra £8 for adults aged 18+. Pre-booking is essential.
