WONDER AND MAGIC RETURNS TO SEVEN STORIES THIS CHRISTMAS

The wonder of Christmas is making a welcome come-back to Seven Stories with a packed events season this winter. After a quiet affair last year, Seven Stories’ elves are going all-out to deck the halls full of twinkly lights, festive cheer and of course, wonderful story times.

The National Centre for Children’s Books has an array of family activities to brighten up diaries for visitors of all ages to the Centre.

Cathy Brumby, Programme Manager at Seven Stories has made a list, checked it twice and is thrilled to reveal the activity planned for the Centre, “Christmas is such a special time for children, and as grown-ups we all get huge pleasure in seeing the delight on their faces.

“Since last year was understandably low key, we are making up for lost time and giving our festive season every drop of Christmas spirit and grain of glitter we have. After all, Christmas isn’t Christmas until you’ve been to Seven Stories” she said.

Seven Stories and its team of Story Catchers is inviting families to join them and, of course the big man himself, for a special Afternoon Tea followed by a cosy grotto visit or a magical Audience with Santa complete with elf activities this year. Mrs Claus is also making an appearance for a special breakfast, plus Festive Cake Baking will get mouths watering.

An Audience with Santa

Have you have ever wondered how Santa actually does all the amazing things he does? Well, now is your chance to ask! Bring your family to Seven Stories for a very special audience with the man of the moment. Elves will be on hand to welcome everyone, provide some story entertainment and keep the little ones busy with festive activities. Then all you need to do is relax and enjoy a selection of seasonal canapés, sweet treats, festive cakes, mulled drinks and hot chocolate all brought to your table. Just don’t forget to take some ‘elfies’!
