Celebrate the Platinum Jubilee in Windsor with De Vere Beaumont Estate

For those looking to head to Windsor to celebrate Queen Elizabeth’s 70 years of service this June, De Vere Beaumont Estate in Old Windsor is offering stays from £412 per night across the four-day bank holiday weekend (2nd – 5th June 2022).

The whole family can join in the celebrations as the hotel is dog-friendly; for an additional cost of £30 per stay, doggie guests receive a bowl, bed, and delicious treats to enjoy throughout their stay.  De Vere Beaumont Estate is set within 44-acres of stunning grounds which include natural ponds, manicured gardens, and unique sculptures, with plenty of space for dogs to explore during their stay.

Guests can join in the celebrations in nearby Windsor from 2nd June where the Windsor Platinum Jubilee Beacon lighting will take place as part of the National Beacon lighting on The Long Walk, with music and fireworks to start off the long weekend. Other events in Windsor taking place during the bank holiday weekend include the Jubilee Concert on 3rd June in St George’s Chapel in Windsor Castle which will be hosted by BBC Radio 3 presenter Petro Trelawny and the Jubilee Picnic in the Park on The Long Walk on 4th June. Guests can expect a fun-packed afternoon full of activities featuring cars, sports and music from the seven decades of The Queen’s reign, and there will also be big screens sharing the events taking place in London including the Party at the Palace. The weekend will end with Windsor’s Big Lunch with tables planned to run from Cambridge Gate down the Long Walk.

During their stay at De Vere Beaumont Estate, guests can enjoy a stay in one of the newly refurbished suites in the Georgian mansion house, The White House, which offers a new luxurious, relaxed, and contemporary design, while retaining the estate’s original 14th-century features, bringing the mansion house in line with De Vere’s distinctly British aesthetic.  The White House suites are complete with luxurious facilities including walk-in showers, roll-top baths, fluffy robes and slippers, classic Roberts radios, quality toiletries and smart TVs – just some of the features that provide a relaxing feel to the newly designed guest rooms.

After a busy day of celebrating in Windsor, guests can re-fuel in the hotel’s 1705 Restaurant & Bar, which celebrates the best of British ingredients to produce traditional and signature dishes and offers a well-stocked bar serving a range of wines, craft beers and classic cocktails.
